I am self employed ... pay taxes. I claim 150K for the last four years. Have one collection from a repo from 5 years ago but tons of good credit for the last 4 years. Mortgage guy is saying that I will have to pay off the collection before he will be able to finance me... is this right? I dont want to pay it because when I had this vehicle, they agreed to make a payment arrangement... it was the year I started working for myself and money was tight. I paid as agreed over the phone (not in writing) and they came and took the car. I tried to fight it but if you are late (over 30 days) they can take the car for broken agreement. I was so mad, they have the car... I don%26#039;t want to pay this. Do I really have to with

Ok, I have a credit score of 650. House is land contract owe 270K worth 310K last week. Self Employed?
Getting mad and Not settling accounts means you are dangerous to make a loan to .
Conversations ( not in writing ) count for Nothing .
If you want more loans , lenders are only accepting clean credit reports now .
Either clear up the old issue or hold off on new loans for 3 more years .
The bad report stays on record for 7 years from the date of the last payment transaction .
