I have a checking account with wachovia and a check card that I use like a credit card rather than a debit card, I also have a mastercard through my college and I was wondering if using these helps my credit score?

Other than using that check card use the credit card then go home transfer the money from checking to the credit card. That will help your credit score. But again only do this if you%26#039;re good with money right now. If you%26#039;re late paying or don%26#039;t pay at all it will hurt your score more than it help.

As eveyrone else has said it doesn%26#039;t help your score using a debit card.
