What credit score would i need to be approved for an American Express Blue?

say my credit score is 720 and annual income is 50k, does anyone know how much credit limit they might give me? to those who already has American Express Blue, do you have problems using it or with their service or their rewards program? thanks

There is no minimum credit score in most cases. They use the entire profile.. Credit score, income, other debt, ect ect, to make their descion on if you are good risk. I would imagine there are peole out there with credit scores in the 500s who could get approved because they have super high income they verify. And i would imagine there are people with credit score over 700 who have very little income and too much other debt who would not get approved. Its always a case by case basis.

720 and annual 50k should get you approved. The line wont always start off high, maybe 5-7k. But over time you could probably work that way up.

Honestly if you%26#039;re concerned just apply for the American Express Delta SkyMiles Gold card.. it is really easy to get and once you pay on it for a month or 2 convert it to the american express blue.. i had my delta skymiles for 3-4 months and i converted it to American Express Blue Cash with a limit of 6,000.. might not be immediate results for you but the skymiles card isn%26#039;t all that bad to begin with.. i love the way my card looks now.. and the benefits are great.. i%26#039;d also look into getting a discover more card if you%26#039;re into really good benefits.. 0% apr first year and 0% balance transfers for 1 year.. with up to 5% cashback.. and a purchase apr of 11.9% after promotion ends..
